Megha's Athidhi was conceived and started by SAI Group in August 2010, who identified a gap in the market for an authentic, Indian restaurant in Detroit. Our chefs are from India and all come from a food background. They have perfected their recipesí for many years working with mentors from some of the finest restaurant and hotels in India.

Many ingredients are flown in from India regularly including equipment such as the original granite stone grinders from Mysore which are used to make the batter for the Dosasí, Uthappams and Idliís is still ground in the original to retain the origins, delicate taste and texture of our authentic cuisine.

All in our company have a firm commitment to quality from the chefs and managers to the kitchen assistants, most of whom have been in the Industry for an average of 10 years.
